From director Lance Daly, this drama thriller stars Orlando Bloom as Dr. Martin Blake, an English transplant who who has come to California from England for his residency. When 18-year-old patient Diane is admitted for a kidney infection, Martin steps in, getting the much-needed boost of self-esteem he craves. As the young patient looks at him adoringly for saving her life, he decides he can’t do without it, and artificially keeps her sick so that she won’t leave the hospital.
